The Wackness is Dope

I recently saw the movie The Wackness, the modernised coming-of-age film. I've read a couple of the reviews, and I must, say, NAUGHTY NAUGHTY.
Early on, I was bewildered. What insanity is this? A taste of barter society? I've done some barterihttp://www.slashfilm.com/wp/wp-content/images/thewackness1.jpgng myself, but....
Enough said.
Combine this wit of a concept with the typical insanity of life in New York, and you have a perfectly wrapped gift of a film. An academy award-winning actor neatly completes and nearly steals all his scenes. An actress we've watched grow make a deliciously druggily drowsy free spirit while losing none of her sweetness. And the wonderfully understated performances of our romantic duo as our hero takes the steps to starting his life anew as an adult. Watch this film. There is a slight lull before the end, but it all ties up. Enjoy
Growing pains, aren't they lovely?
